You’re probably wondering what the colorful diet is and why you haven’t heard about it before. That’s because it’s not a diet plan as such it’s just an idea to hold in your mind and use to eat more healthily so that you lose weight.
So what is the idea behind the colorful diet? Let’s first drop the word diet as its just an approach to eating healthily.
Basically it’s about including lots of colors when you’re making your choices about what foods to eat. These colors come naturally from foods such as carrots, tomatoes, green vegetables, strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, mangoes etc.
The more and varying colors (natural colors that is) that you choose to include as part of your foods, generally the healthier you’ll be eating. You see, most naturally colored foods are vegetables and fruits, and these are not only healthy choices for helping to lose weight but they’re also packed full of antioxidants. These are of great benefit to your health.
Being more colorful with your choices of foods is quite an easy way to implement healthy eating for weight loss. To keep things simple all you need to do when deciding which foods you’re going to eat is ask yourself how you can make these choices more colorful.
Its as simple as that. You may find yourself choosing then to eat more vegetables with a meal or choosing some fruit as a snack instead of biscuits or cakes.
